Harris and Wayne Harland Harris. On March 17, 1943, he married Alene Raye Spears in Konawa. Mr. Harris worked for the State Highway Department 33 years as a truck driver. He was a member of First Baptist Church Sasakwa and Odd Fellows Lodge and a musician. He was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Wayne Harris, brother Luther Harris, two sisters Jewell Bass and Fredith Clayton. Survivors include his wife of 67 years Alene Harris; two sons, Donnie Harris and wife Dee of Konawa, Thomas Harris and wife Pam of Edmond; a daughter, Sondra Knight and husband Doyle of Midwest City; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was voted most useful citizen in 1964, headed the funding campaign for the Cancer and Heart Association drives and worked with the Meals on Wheels program. She served as court bailiff for the Tillman County Court System for more than 30 years and was inventory/control clerk at Frederick Ace Hardware for over 15 years until 2008. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she taught 3 and 4 year olds until 2009. She held Wednesday services and birthday celebrations at the nursing centers in Frederick for more than 30 years and was coordinator for funeral dinners for more than 20 years. He died Thursday, June 24, 2010, at his home. Mr. Halk graduated from Butner High School and attended Oklahoma A&M College. He was a longtime member of Wewoka Church of Christ. He was employed as a retail clerk for P. Magnum. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from East Central University. She married James Willie Scroggins in August 1963 in Ada. He died in June 1965. She married Clayton Lamont Campbell on June 8, 1968, in Ada. He died July 15, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Campbell was the office manager for the family business and also worked at Yukon Public Library. She was a member of First United Brethren Church in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Mrs. Campbell was active in volunteer work in Yukon and had been nominated for "Volunteer of the Year" for work at an elementary school in Yukon.
