Randy Golden will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Mrs. White died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at a local hospital. She was born Oct. 24, 1925, in Kansas to Homer Muck Sr. and Grace Wampler Muck. She married William Curtis “Bill” White on Aug. 14, 1961, in Ada. He preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 1994. Mrs. White was employed at Iron-J Grocery store on Main and Oak, at Liberty Café on Main Street, then at Valley View Regional Hospital on the second floor and later in the Intensive Care Unit for a total of 37 years of service. She was a member of High Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Donald White and wife Tammy, Ada; a daughter, Linda White, of the home; three grandchildren, Tommy Ellis, David White and Faye Mast, all of Ada; two great-grandchildren, Zachary Ellis and Kaylee Mast; sisters, Hazel Holloway and husband Dave, Safford, Ariz., and Mary Lou Loman, Alabama; and sisters-in-law, Sue Muck, Elanor Muck and Margaret Muck She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Steven Ellis, and siblings, Homer Muck Jr., Ray Muck, Ruby Williams, Billy Muck, Leonard Muck and Marvin Muck. He married Retha Gaither on November 2, 1952 at the Roff United Methodist Church. Mr. White was employed with the Texas City Water Department for 18 years and moved to Roff in 1970 from Texas City, Texas. He was employed with Evergreen Mills and retired in 1990. Mr. White was active in the church, a member of the American Legion Post #72 in Ada, and had served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mrs. Vielma was a sponsor for OSU Rodeo Association, trained in Parelli horsemanship, a supporter of Turning Point Ranch (which provides therapeutic riding for individuals with special needs), and an active member of Stillwater FFA Booster Club. She attended Cowboy Church and St. Francis Catholic Church in Stillwater. She worked at Blue Bell for 27 years and was a homemaker. She was a member of Coalgate Church of Christ. She married Ross Reed July 9, 1938, at Parker. He died July 6, 2004. While in Centrahoma, they helped found and were charter members of the First Baptist Church in Centrahoma. In Stonewall, they operated the Main Theater then went into the hardware and appliance business after purchasing the McKoy Hardware Store. After retiring, she and Cecil moved to Allen where they remained active in church work and community service. For several years, Mrs. Bullard was the activities director at Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Allen. She attended Ada and Byng Public Schools, (as well as schools in Norfolk, Va. and Orange, Calif., during World War II), before returning to Oklahoma and finishing high school at Byng. She then attended two years at East Central University. She later worked in several capacities at Byng High School. She became a legal secretary and assistant in two law offices in Ada. She was office manager for Gordon’s Law Office in Ada in 1975-1978. She moved to Seminole in early 1980 and worked for several years in the office of Moran Oil Enterprises. In 1986, she purchased and managed the Ada Travel Service, Inc., in Ada until she sold it to Pre-Paid Legal Services in 2000 when she retired. As a young girl, Judy was an active member of the Ada Round-Up Club and the Rainbow Girls. She was a President of Ada League of Women Voters, a Chair of the 5th District Oklahoma Federation of Democratic Women, and received recognition by the Oklahoma Democratic Woman’s Hall of Fame. Mrs. Melson is a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Seminole. She and Gordon Melson married in August 1971 in Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Finnis Holt, as well as her youngest son, Scott Alan Leddy. They married on December 16, 1972 in San Diego, CA. Ron was a police detective in Haltom City, TX, where he also worked for Tarrant County Sheriff's Department as bailiff. He retired from El Cajon Police Department in El Cajon, CA. The Blair family moved to Ada, OK in 2004 and he went to work for the Chickasaw Nation. Ron was cautious of people "it's a police thing" but once he knew you, you were a friend or considered family. Ron was of the Pentecostal faith. He loved God, his family, house church, the San Diego Chargers, cultivating orchids and loved dancing with his wife Reneé. His grandchildren and granddawg were the light of his life. Ron was a very accomplished musician who played many instruments. He loved playing music for the Lord. Ron leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Reneé Perry Blair, son Robbie Blair and daughter Roni Blair Cooper and husband Brandon Cooper all of Ada, OK.
