Officiating the wake will be Thomas Hulbutta. Mr. Tiger died Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at an Ada hospital. He was born Jan. 2, 1968, in Wetumka to Joseph Tiger Sr. and Christine Ponoske Tiger. He married Carolyn Walters on Aug. 16, 1997, in Wewoka. Mr. Tiger moved to Ada from Wewoka in 2000. He was affiliated with the Emmanuel Temple of Praise and Deliverance in Shawnee. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Tiger of the home; two sons, Zephaniah Davis of the home and Zack Davis of the home; two daughters, Marcella Walters of Ada, and Celesta Walters of the home; his mother, Christine Tiger, Ada; two brothers, Joseph Tiger Jr., Ada, and Anthony Tiger, Seminole; three sisters, Laveda Tiger, Ada Carolyn Lewis, Ada, and Ashley Tiger, Dallas, Texas; and four grandchildren, Belen Rodriguez, Gabriela Rodriguez, Silas Romero and Asa Ray Walters, all of Ada. John Henry Lippard officiating. Burial follows at Center Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home. Mr. Hooser died on Thursday, June 30, 2011, at his home. He was born Nov. 27, 1935, in the Wilson community west of Ada to Toss A. and Grace Reynolds Hooser. He attended school at Wilson and graduated from Latta High School and attended East Central State College. His last year at Latta High School he received “The Junior Master Farmers Degree” by the Oklahoma FFA Association, along with 244 other top FFA members of Oklahoma. This was the highest award that could be given on a state level. After serving two years in the U.S. Army in Tacoma, Wash., he worked for the Chicago Rock Island and Pacific Railroad, first as a clerk at Elk City then as a traveling auditor at Des Moines, Iowa, Liberal, Kan., and Dallas, Texas, then as a terminal agent at Fort Worth, Texas. Following retirement from the railroad, he and his wife moved back to Ada and owned a herd of registered Red Angus cattle. He was a member of Community Free Will Baptist Church in Pickett, Pontotoc County Cattle Association and Red Angus Association of America. He married Bobbie Sue Voyles on Dec. 5, 1957, at Gaar Corner Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Sue Hooser, of the home; a daughter, Devona Pearson; grandson, Taylor Pearson, Austin, Texas; aunt, Lois Roper, Ada; uncle, L.G. Hooser, Lightning Ridge; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Gregory Kent Hooser, his father, Toss A. Interment will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Mr. Webb was born May 9, 1914, in Cherokee County, Ala., to James Newton and Sarah Elizabeth Pettyjohn Webb. He died Wednesday, June 29, 2011, in Pauls Valley. Mr. Webb and Minnie Lee Pursley were married in 1938. After her death in 1966, Mr. Webb married Methel Roberts in 1967. She died in 1998. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Minnie; wife, Methel, his brother, Jack Webb, two sisters, Thelma Clark and Nanny Bridges; grandson Chad Webb and granddaughter, Cindy Webb. Mr. Webb spent his working career in the oil industry. He had several jobs in the oil-field including servicing wells and pumping. John Haynes will officiate. Mr. Huddleston died suddenly Sunday, July 3, 2011 at his home. He was born Aug. 17, 1955 in McAlester to Bob and Alba Jones Huddleston. He and his family moved to Ada when he was 7 years old and he remained in this area the rest of his life. He graduated from Ada High School. He spent his entire career working in television, beginning at KTEN in 1973. At the time of his death, he was Regional Production Manager for Cable One. He was a member of the Ada First Baptist Church and served for many years on the Ada City School Foundation. Survivors include his mother, Alba C. She preceded him in death Sept. 7, 1998. Mr. Parker was the Task Force Director of off-shore drilling operations for Gulf Oil Corporation until his retirement. He was a 50 year member of the Ada Lodge #119 AF & AM and the Scottish Rite. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Mr. Parker moved back to Ada from Houston, Texas in 1998. He was a member of the Heavener Kiwanis Club where he served as Past President, board member and was a lifetime member. He was a Sales Representative for A. C. Neilsen Marketing Retail, Champlin Petroleum Company and the former owner and manager of Sonic Drive-In in Heavener. He served in the U. S. Army from 1960 until being honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant in 1966. He retired from AT&T after 30 years of service. Harvey’s favorite pastime was camping, horseback riding of which he had a life-long love of. His biggest love was for his family. She was the wife of the late Glen Howard Oakley. Born January 8, 1922 in Durant, Oklahoma she was the daughter of the late William Daniel and Gaynell Clark. Billy’s sweet and gentle nature made her easily loved by many. She adored anyone she encountered and always saw the good in people. She was a true southern bell with sharp wit, sass, sense of humor and a very kind and loving heart. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing her piano, and telling stories of the wondrous adventures of her years. She was very fond of the arts and found great joy in all things music, including the ballet and the opera. She attended Western Meadows Baptist Church while living in Durant, and Frederick Presbyterian Church in Frederick. Billy Gay is survived by her loving son William Charles Oakley and wife Terrie of Jefferson, MD, daughter Judith Covalt of Dallas, TX; grandchildren Jody Covalt and husband Todd Terry of Dallas, TX, Roy Oakley of Mesquite, TX, Glen Oakley and wife Christa of Walkersville, MD and Megan Shankle of Brunswick, MD; great grandchildren Catherine and Sydney Oakley of Walkersville, MD. Billy is also lovingly remembered by many family members including Debbie Noonan and children and three adoring youngins, Skyler, Kenny and Ella. She will also be fondly remembered by June Oakley of Richardson, TX and many dear friends. She was born Aug. 16, 1950 at Valley View Hospital. Ms. Reimann grew up in Ada and was a 1968 graduate of Ada High School. Upon graduation, she attended Hollins College, Roanoke, Va., and the University of Oklahoma, where she studied English and horticultural technology. She attained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1985. She studied for her master’s degree in landscape architecture at OU and later transferred to the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she acquired a Master of City Planning degree in 1987. Her studies reflected her love for helping others and the environment, with emphasis on urban design and facilitation. In 1991 she went to work for the State of Georgia’s Department of Community Affairs. She was serving as the community development coordinator with the Georgia Main Street Program at the time of her death. She had recently been awarded the designation of National Development Council’s Certified Economic Development Finance Professional. She was a resident of Decatur, Ga. In addition to her work, Ms. Reimann contributed to several environmental and other causes. She worked for a non-profit organization, Trees Atlanta, which provided trees to welcome the 1996 Olympic Games to Atlanta. She also volunteered long hours helping refugees from Hurricane Katrina relocate to the Atlanta area. She never lost her enthusiasm for learning new interests. In recent years, she studied music and delighted in becoming an urban farmer. She raised a back-yard flock of exotic heirloom chickens. They produced pastel green and blue eggs, which she shared freely with friends and neighbors. Survivors include her parents; one daughter, Sara Reimann, of San Francisco, Ca.; one brother, Steve Busby, of Ada; and two sisters, Catherine Dart, of Norman; and Marilyn Crawford, of Ada; aunt and uncle, David and Mary Beth Busby, Washington D. C., and an aunt, Marguerite Johnson, of San Angelo, Tx. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. At Ms. Reimann’s wishes, a service for family and close friends will be held at the at the family cemetery, on the Busby ranch 11 miles east of Ada on CR 1495 at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30. He married Sharon Carmelia Colbert on April 4, 1969, in Stonewall,. Mr. Shelton graduated from New Lima High School, was a member of the Philemon Baptist Church, and was a longtime resident of Ada. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War at the age of 19. He received the Combat Infantry Badge and was honorably discharged Nov. 21, 1971. He retired from Holman Cement Plant after 33 years of service. Survivors include his wife Sharon C. Shelton of the home; two daughters, Carol Parker and husband Reginald E. Parker and Alexandria Shelton-Watson and her husband Joshua P. Watson; granddaughters, Armani R. Parker and Zaire C. Watson; mother, Elmarie Shelton; stepmother, Earnscell Shelton; sisters, Thelmarie Hill, Eather Stevenson, Magadaline Shelton; Maggie Lee Shelton, Elmora Shelton, Jamie Jenkins, and Loretta Shelton; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The Rev. Howie Moss will officiate. Mrs. Trivitt died July 28, 2011, in Miami. She was born April 4, 1921, at Gerty to Leroy L.D. Crockett and Georgia Sparks Crockett. She married Ralph William Trivitt on Aug. 27, 1943, at Ada. He died in 1977. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and sisters and by two sons, infant Ralph William Trivitt Jr. and Gerald Wayne Trivitt. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stroud for more than 50 years. She taught primary age Sunday school and served as Sunday School superintendent for many years. She taught school during World War II on a special certificate, returning to college in 1960 to complete her degree in elementary education at the University of Central Oklahoma, in Edmond. She taught second grade for 29 years in the Stroud and Milfay, Okla., school systems. In 2000, she moved to Miami to be closer to family and resided at the Village until moving to Osborne Care & Rehab. in November 2009 where she was living at the time of her death. Survivors include one daughter, Doris Jean Snyder, Miami; three granddaughters, Tammy Corntassel and husband Jim of Miami, Erin Coleman and husband Jim of Stroud, and Lindsay Bivin and husband Ryan of Sand Springs; and two great-grandchildren Cody Corntassel and Chelsea Corntassel, both of Miami.
