Bob Langston will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Mrs. Violet died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006 at a local nursing home. She was born May 17, 1928, at Kingfisher to Vernon Charles and Elizabeth York Kale. She and her family moved here in the 1930s. She graduated from Ada High School. Mrs. Violet was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She married Lee Violet May 12, 1966, in Ada. Survivors include her husband Lee Violet, of the home; a son, Frank Anderson Dunlap III, and wife Frieda, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two grandchildren, Jared Adam Dunlap and Carissa Elaine Dunlap, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Frances Cope, Checotah; a stepdaughter, Janis Walker and husband Jerry, Ada; two stepgrandchildren, Cindy Current, Arkansas City, Kan., and Felicia Whitworth, Ada; five step great-grandchildren; and one step great-great-granddaughter; two nieces, Carol Thomas, College Station, Texas, and Glenna Stidham, Checotah. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Lowell Dunlap.
