CARTER IRVING, Texas — Philip D. Carter, 56, of Grapevine, Texas, passed away April 8, 2014, at Los Colinas, Texas. He was born November 13, 1957, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, the son of Richard and Erma Carter. Phil knew everyone in the neighborhood and everyone knew him, and it wasn’t uncommon to see Phil with all the neighborhood kids tubing behind his Sea Doo. Phil was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time on the lake. He loved to cook and entertain. He held the title of Vice President of Ram Jack of Texas, where he worked for 27 years. Cherishing his memory are his wife, Janine Carter of Grapevine; his children, Ryan Carter of Irving, Austin Carter and Savannah Carter, both of Grapevine; his parents, Richard and Erma Carter of Dewar, Oklahoma; brothers, Carroll Carter, Eric Carter and sister Alice McGowen, all of Dewar; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, the Ram Jack family and many dear friends.
