Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home in Guymon with the Rev. Lloyd Riddles officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Mr. Myers was born May 20, 1908, in Drummond. He married Myrtle Mahnken on Aug. 2, 1929, and they were married 72 years. Survivors include his wife; a son, Charles Myers of Redondo Beach, Calif.; four daughters, Doris C. McClenney and Helen Bates, both of Perryton, Pat Berry of Weatherford, Texas, and Ruth Sipes of Elkhart, Kan.; two sisters, Bertha Reynor of Redding, Calif., and Mary A. Weisner of Orange Park, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Perryton Hospice; or a favorite charity and may be left at the funeral home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73945. Amarillo Globe-News, April 26, 2002
