Chaplain Paul Hagedorn of Providence Hospice will officiate. Mr. Felkins, 82, of Gold Hill, died Monday (Dec. 10, 2001) at his home. He was born April 22, 1919, in Roff, Okla., the son of Charles and Margaret Felkins. On June 12, 1948, in Bernalillo, N.M., he married Glenda M. Praffer, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1986 from Sacramento, Calif. Mr. Felkins was a heavy equipment operator in construction before retiring after 20 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Felkins was a member of Teamsters Local 150 in California. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Chuck, Gold Hill; a daughter, Sharon Fast, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; five sisters; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Cecil Lynn Felkins.
