Interment will be in Los Gatos Memorial Park, Los Gatos, Calif. Mr. Teese, 80, of Medford, died Sunday (March 3, 2002) at Providence Medford Medical Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Research Alliance of Oregon, P.O. Box 10051, Portland, OR 97296-0051. He was born Aug. 2, 1921, in Francis, Okla. On June 3, 1944, in Campbell, Calif., he married Pauline Hancock, who died in 1977. Mr. Teese owned and operated Milpitas Tire Service in Milpitas, Calif. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1999 from Oakdale, Calif. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Teese was a member of the Oakdale Country Club in Oakdale, Calif. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and watching sports. Survivors include three sons, Michael, Jacksonville, Gary, Santa Cruz, Calif., and Douglas, Watsonville, Calif.; a daughter Cheri Deutschman, San Jose, Calif.; two sisters, Elena Cater, Pasco, Wash., and Midge Cantrell, in California; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence, Floyd and Earl; and two sisters, Opal and Velma. Friends may leave a message in the guest book at www.perfuneral.com.
