Mickey Keith and Bud Ross officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Rice died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Dec. 30, 1924, in Ada to Henry and Lula "Mae" Rice and lived in this area all his life. He graduated from Latta High School in 1943. He retired from Brockway Glass in 1983 after 36 years of service. He was a member of Evangelistic Temple and served as a deacon for many years. He was a member of the National Guard. He married Doris Deen Wyche Nov. 26, 1948, in Ada. She preceded him in death June 2, 2004. Survivors include a son, Jim Rice and wife Rhonda, Ada; two daughters, Dana Smith and husband Gary, Ada, and Carol Thomas and husband Bud, Grayland, Wash.; three grandchildren, Jamin Rice, Ada, Chad Smith, Frisco, Texas, and Lindsay Watkins, Ada; one stepgrandson, Brandon Chad Smith, Bixby; two great- grandchildren, Kaley and Noah Watkins, Ada; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Malorie and Madelynn Smith, Bixby; and a brother, Dirl Rice, Midland, Texas. Ron West is officiating. Mr. Satterfield died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at his home in Ada. He was born June 12, 1920, in Atoka to Bert W. and Sarah Turner Satterfield. He married Eunice Edith Cotton Dec. 26, 1956, in Reno, Nev. She died Dec. 19, 1994. Mr. Satterfield attended Atoka Schools and served in the United States Army in the 635th Army Tank Battalion in World War II. He worked for the Simpson Lumber Mill Company in Eureka, Calif., for many years. He moved to Ada in 1995. Survivors include a brother, Roland Satterfield, Holdenville; three sisters, Lena Roth, Pat McAnally and Connie Allen, all of Ada; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parentes, a brother, Claude Satterfield, and a sister, Dovie Rieger. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. Dirck died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004, at her home. She was born July 29, 1953, in Oklahoma City to Bill and Margurete Been Dirck. She graduated from Del City High School and moved to Ada in 1971 from Oklahoma City. She attended Oklahoma Christian College, Oklahoma University and South Community Paramedic school. She moved to Lakeland, Florida and graduated from Orange County Fire Academy. She was a fire fighter/paramedic for Orange County. She then moved back to Ada in 1991, where she attended East Central University. Ms. Dirck was a skydiver in Lakeland, Fla., and Cushing. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ. Survivors include her mother, Margurete Dirck, Ada and a sister, Andrea Dirck, Littleton, Colo. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Dirck, on Feb. 2, 1995. Stephen Nation officiating. Mr. Golden died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, at his home. He was born March 26, 1926, in the Egypt community to Henry M. and Lillie Frances Golden. He attended school at Worstell. He came to this area in 1999 from El Reno. He was an oil field driller. He was a Baptist. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Bolin died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born Feb. 8, 1918, in Ada to James Franklin and Ova G. Ragland Agee. She graduated from Vanoss High School in 1935. She was a resident of Walnut Grove and then later moved to Ada. She married Johnny Bolin on July 18, 1942. He died Oct. 13, 1950. Mrs. Bolin worked as a housekeeper and babysitter for many Ada residents. She was a longtime member of Southwest Church of Christ and after moving to the Ada Reed Center, she became affiliated with the Cottage Street Church of Christ. She is survived by two daughters, Janell Trammell, Duncan, and Judy Kingery, Ada; a son, Euell Bolin, Ada; 10 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. He died Sept. 21, 1988 , in Allen. He attended Seminole Junior College. Mr. Lamb married Debbie Starks Dec. 16, 1977, in Ada. He was previously employed in oilfield construction, and for the last 14 years, he was a self- employed carpenter. Mr. Lamb was a Baptist. He died April 3, 1979. She married Carl Conrad Barnett in November 1980. He died March 17, 1992. She was a long-time member of First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Joe and Ben; and three sisters, Virgie, Sylvia and Maud. Ben Husted will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Masonic rites will be conducted at the grave site. Mr. Miller died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at an Ardmore hospital. He was born Sept. 30, 1926, at Allen to Rowe and Emily Tucker Miller. He graduated from Stonewall High School. Mr. Miller was employed with Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kan., and later with Bell Helicopter in Fort Worth, Texas, retiring after 35 years of service. After his retirement, he moved to Owl Creek to farm. Mr. Miller was a 32nd degree Mason and Present Master, member of the Stonewall Bright Star Lodge 113 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, a member of the Scottish Rite and also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1944-1946. Survivors include three nephews, Hal Sliger, Allen, Rick Sliger, Byng, and Jack Hamilton, Seminole; two nieces, Lisa Groves, Byng, and Gela Peterson, Byng; 13 great nieces and nephews.
