Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery at Oklahoma City. Mr. Jones died Oct. 19, 2002, at Oklahoma City. He was born Dec. 29, 1925, at Coalgate to Sterling and Flora Grove Jones. He worked for OG&E for 41 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 352 and the Masonic Lodge of McLoud. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War. He married Rosalia Miley Jones. Survivors include his wife, Rosalia Miley Jones, of the home; a son, Mark Jones, Houston, Texas; a daughter, Kendra Stetz, Mascoutah, Ill.; a sister, Arlene Cannon, Oklahoma City; a brother, Murray Jones, Pensacola, Fla.; and a granddaughter. Kevin L. Ward officiating. Burial follows at Swan Hill Cemetery. Mr. Malone died Oct. 19, 2002, at a local hospital. He was born Oct. 23, 1916, at Canton, Texas, to William and Nola Ella Ivey Malone. He came to Oklahoma from Texas. He was a salesman for a large company in California. He was owner of Bob Malone Tire Co. in Florida and Georgia. He married Erma M. Malone July 15, 1940, at Fort Worth, Texas. She died Jan. 9, 2001, at Ada. He was affiliated with Covenant Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Latta. He served in the U.S. Marines. Survivors include a son, Walter William "Bill" Malone, Ada; a daughter, Carolyn Prentiss Dolan, Essex, Conn.; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Malone Jr., in 1949. Meredith Robinson officiating. Mr. Browning died Oct. 20, 2002, at Ada. He was born Sept. 3, 1930, at Holdenville to Jimmie Jake and Elsie E. Heatley Browning. He attended school at Holdenville. Mr. Browning joined the U.S. Navy in 1948 and served for 26 years. He was stationed on different ships, but stayed in many areas such as Italy and Massachusetts during his service with the Navy. He married Teresa Pattison at Sasakwa on March 9, 1985. Survivors include his wife, Theresa Browning, of the home; two step-daughters, Pattie Burditt, Little, and Kim Davis, Angleton, Texas; his mother, Elsie Browning, Holdenville; three sisters, Barbara Pelts, Enid, Ann Pattison, Sasakwa, and Jean Morrison, Salem, Ore.; and a step-granddaughter. Mr. Stephens died Oct. 20, 2002, at an Ada assisted living facility. He was born April 6, 1907, at Wynnewood, Indian Territory, to James E. and Rebecca Suzanne Boren Stephens. He attended Corley School south of Stratford. He came to Union Valley in 1931. While in that area, he was active in school, church, and community activities. He relocated to Ada in 2000. Mr. Stephens married Ruth Gentry Oct. 20, 1928. She died Aug. 13, 1995. He was a farmer and rancher until his retirement. He was a former member of the Union Valley Baptist Church and was an active member of the Pontotoc County Soil Conservation District for more than 30 years where served as chairman. He was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Stephens, and a grandson. Survivors include a son, Dean Stephens, Ada; a daughter, Kathryn Cavel, Ada; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He grew up in the Wynnewood area where he attended school. He married Mary Louise McNeil in 1939. He married Mary T. Kinard in October 1970. She died in July 2000. Mr. Williams worked at the Kerr-McGee Refinery in Wynnewood for more than 32 years until his retirement in 1973. He was a longtime member of Wynnewood Roundup Club. He was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Williams; a daughter, Norma Jean Burkett; and a granddaughter, Deborah Carter. He was born Aug. 4, 1945, at Chicago, Ill., to William Daniel and Johanna Agnes Zubricky Jordan. He worked for the Department of Labor as an OSHA industrial hygienist. He moved to Choctaw from Tulsa in 1981. He was a 10-year veteran of the U.S. Marines, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam, where he received a Purple Heart. He also served for 15 years in the National Guard. He was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church. He married Beverly G. Bryan June 1, 1967, at Ada.
