Smith Services for Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Smith, 86, 1431 Scenic Drive, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Christian Church. The Rev. J. E. Dorman, pastor, will conduct the rites and burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery. Criswell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Smith died at 7:30 p.m. Monday in a local nursing home. She had been ill more than 12 weeks. Born in Atlanta, Ga., July 12, 1881, to John H. and Nancy Day Ivy, she attended Georgia schools and was married to Lee P. Smith in Pauls Valley June 4, 1901. Mr. Smith died in Ada May 13, 1936. Mrs. Smith came to Ada in September 1902 with her husband. She came to Oklahoma in 1898 and had lived in Alabama and Texas prior to coming to the state. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Ada. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Isa Edwards and Mrs. Iva Robberson, both of Ada; one son, Hadden Lee Smith, Fort Worth. Six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, W. S. Ivy, Spokane, Wash., Colley Ivy, Pauls Valley, and Cecil Ivy, Pauls Valley; one half-sister, Mrs. Geneva Branstetter, Santa Cruz, Calif.
