Buckmaster Lorene F. Buckmaster died Thursday at her Shawnee home. She was 63. She was born in Shawnee Dec. 11, 1938, the daughter of Everett Roy Collier and Eula (Lee) Collier. She was raised in Shawnee and attended Acme School. On July 13, 1953, she married Roy "Jim" Buckmaster in Shawnee. The lifelong Shawnee resident was a member of Golden Acres Baptist Church. She worked as a machine operator at Wolverine Tube for 23 years before her retirement. Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Gene Collier and Dan Collier; one daughter, Darlene Buckmaster; and one son, Scott Buckmaster. Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter and son-in- law, Sheila Buckmaster Grove and husband Cliff of Maud; a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Buckmaster and wife Linda of Shawnee; six grandchildren, Brandon Buckmaster, Sean Weems, Jamie Cagle, Cody Buckmaster, Emily Buckmaster and Wesley Buckmaster; three great- grandchildren, Ashley Weems, Dava Hasbell and Junior Hasbell; three brothers, Leroy Collier, Virgil Collier and Charles Collier; two sisters, Ruby Wright and Rosa Fogle; and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Cliff Briscoe officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
