All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Sutter Cemetery--Sutter CA Appeal Democrat 27 Jul 2006 Shirley Ann Blancett-Murphy Shirley Ann Blancett-Murphy, 66, of Sutter died June 25, 2006, at her residence. Born in Wanette, Okla., she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 60 years. A homemaker, she had worked for the American Automobile Association for many years and for the Bank of America. She was a co-founder of the Sutter Buttes Quilt Guild. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Harold Murphy of Sutter; a daughter, Kristina Murphy-Turner of Sutter; a son, Charles “Billy” Murphy of Placerville; three stepsons, Steven Murphy of Yuba City, John Murphy of Lodi and David Harris of Washington; three stepdaughters, Linda Pitts, Joan Ronald and Karen Blancett, all of Yuba City; a brother, Cleo Blancett of Yuba City; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 618 Fifth St., Marysville, Ca 95901. Services: Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St., Yuba City. A funeral service is at 10 a.m. Friday, also at the chapel.
