All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Guardian West FH--OKC OK Cole, Paul Max Paul Max, 78 years old, passed to Heaven on August 17, 2003. 'Max' was a charter member of the Baptist Temple and long time resident of Oklahoma City. He was born June 23, 1925 in Tecumseh, OK to Harry L. and Nora B. Cole, who preceded him in death. Max was a veteran of WWII, serving aboard the U.S.S. Lindsey and survived a Kamikaze attack at the battle of Okinawa. Prior to entering the Navy, Max graduated from Classen High in 1943, where he was a member of the track team. He is survived by one sister, Willa Dean Ross of Oklahoma City and numerous nephews and a niece. Graveside service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at Memorial Park Cemetery, officiated by Dr. Finley W. Tinnin. Honor guard will be provided by the American Legion, Post #12. The family wishes to thank Crossroads Hospice for their caring and devoted service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crossroads Hospice. GUARDIAN WEST 41 & N.
