He was 74. He was born Feb. 15, 1925, in Butler to Everett Roy and Eula Mary (Lee) Collier. He married Essie O. Corgill June 1, 1954, in Konawa. Collier graduated from high school and attended Neff Business College. He was a truck driver for Mistletoe Express for 27Ý years until he retired. He owned the Collier Pastry Shop in Shawnee. He was a World War II veteran and received the Good Conduct Medal. Collier attended the Golden Acre Baptist Church. He lived in Shawnee most of his life. Survivors include his wife, Essie O. Collier, of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, Ronny Collier, Norman, and Robert and Rosanna Collier, Bethel Acres; daughters and son-in-law, Barbara Collier, Shawnee, and Kimberly and Brian Gilliam, Meeker; brothers, Virgil Collier, Stillwater, Leroy Collier, Odesa, Texas, Dan Collier, Medford, and Charles Collier, Bethel Acres; sisters, Ruby Wright, Rosie Fogle and Lorene Buckmaster, all of Shawnee; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters-in-law and a brother in-law. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Clifton Briscoe and the Rev. Tom Hall.
