All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Estes, Pearl Pearl Estes was born in Asher, OK to Claude & Amanda Wolfe. She spent her younger years in Grandfield where she met & married her husband, Foster Estes, who preceded her in death in 1980. Their only child, John Bob Estes, also preceded her in death in 1992. Pearl worked for the Oklahoma Tax Commision for 31 years, followed by employment at the Better Business Bureau for 10 years. She served as past governor of District 13 (ARK-OK) Pilot International and held the post of president and all other offices of Pilot club of OKC. She was also a lifetime member of Eastern Star. Survivors include her beloved daughter-in-law, Nancy Estes; grandsons Phil & wife, Nancy of Orinda, CA; Todd & wife, Janet of OKC and great grandchildren Layne, Casey & Logan Estes of Orinda, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Lee United Methodist Church Building Fund, 601 Southwest 36th St., OKC, 73109. The family particularly wants to thank the employees of Manor Care-Warr Acres & Crossroads Hospice for their tender and loving care during her brief illness. Funeral Services will be 10 AM Monday, September 23, 2002 at the Capitol Hill Funeral Home with interment in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
