All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Bakersfield Californian Thelma Etheridge Services: Sat., Dec. 15, 1 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 15th, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park for Thelma Louise Etheridge. Thelma was born May 7th, 1916 in Shawnee, Oklahoma and passed away December 12th , 2001 in Bakersfield, CA. Thelma was active within the community and with her family. She was a member of Local 1036 United Food and Commercial Workers, and a charter member of the Retieries Club, a member of the Lamont Womens Club, and an officer of the Fairfax Grange. She was loved and cherished by anyone who came in contact with her. She will be greatly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Etheridge in 1986. She is survived by her sister Rosemary Beam of Richmond, CA; brother John Howard of San Jose, CA; her oldest daughter Shirlee and husband Joe Worsham of Porterville, CA; middle daughter Karen and husband Loyd Pierucci of Bakersfield, CA; and youngest daughter Melinda Poppelwell of Bakersfield, CA. In addition there are 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The family would like to say a special thank you to Robin Downing.
