Floyd CLOVIS, N.M. - D.D. Floyd, 70, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Kendall officiating. Burial will be in Bovina Cemetery at Bovina, Texas. Military honors will be by Cannon Air Force Base Ceremonial Flight. Mr. Floyd was born in Wanette, Okla., and was raised on his parents' ranch in Bovina. He moved to Clovis in 1950. He served with the Army during World War II in the Philippines. He worked many years as a contractor in the construction business before retiring. He was a member of 16th & Pile Church of Christ and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3280. He worked for the Green Thumb Program. Mr. Floyd married Lois Ruth Baysinger in 1994 at Farwell, Texas.
