Mary E. Howard

PAMPA - Mary E. Howard, 67, died Monday, April 27, 1998.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. 
John Glover, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview 
Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Howard was born in Shawnee, Okla. She was a 1948 graduate of Borger 
High School. She moved to Pampa in 1962.

She was involved with the Pampa Meals on Wheels, the Pampa Country Club 
Women's Golf Association, the Parent Teacher Association and the Beta 
Sigma Phi sorority. She also was a member of First Baptist Church, where 
she was a leader in her Sunday school class.

She married Paul Howard in 1952 at Borger.

Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Paulette Edgar of Oklahoma 
City, Pam Deeds and Misti Howard, both of Amarillo, Linda Enloe of De Soto 
and Lisa Wills of Pampa; a sister, De Ann Hill of Wagoner, Okla.; and nine 
grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to the Pampa Meals on Wheels or First 
Baptist Church.
