All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Wheatland Cemetery--Wheatland CA Marysville Yuba City Appeal Democrat September 19, 2000 - 9:00AM Alvis Henry Alvis "Red" Henry, 93, of Marysville died Sept. 18, 2000, at Rideout Memorial Hospital. Born in Wannette, Okla., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 40 years. He was a retired rice farmer and rancher and assisted in building Ellis Lake. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Faye Henry of Marysville; seven sons, Austin Henry and Mickey Henry, both of Marysville, Gary Henry of Brownsville, Ernie Henry and Richard Henry, both of Bakersfield, John Gaines of Paso Robles and Bob Gaines of Lovelock, Nev.; five daughters, Evonne Henry of Marysville, Aleen McHale, Kathie Ramsey and Jeannie Johnson, all of Yuba City and Claudia Letterman of Chico; 40 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Dell Raymond Henry. Services: A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Olivehurst. The Rev. Michael Jurna will officiate. Burial will follow at Wheatland Cemetery.
