All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== OBITUARY, Shawnee Morning News, Wednesday, November 14, 1934, page 3: William Hamilton McDonald, 77, died at his home 514 North Patchin Street, Tuesday morning at 6:30, following a three months illness with heart trouble. He was a retired farmer and moved to Shawnee in 1918. He came to Oklahoma 39 years ago from Nebraska. McDonald was a member of the Christian Church. McDonald is survived by a son, Jess E. McDonald, and a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Bilbreth, both of Shawnee, three brothers, Robert McDonald of Collin, MO., John McDonald of Longmont, Colo., and Austin McDonald of California; a sister, Mrs. Callie Craig of Childs, Kan. Nine grandchildren also survive. Funeral will be held at Gaskill chapel Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. John J. Enos, pastor of the Church of God, Apostolic, in charge of services. Burial will be made in Fairview cemetery.
