John Burl Miller Rites Today

Funeral services for John Burl Miller, 61, Butler, were held at 2:30 p.m. 
today in the Martin Funeral home Chapel in Elk City with Rev. Albert Trent 
officiating.

Miller died Sunday in Clinton Regional Hospital. He was born in 
Pottawatomie County and came to Roger Mills County from eastern Oklahoma 
in 1919. He had lived in the Hammon area for several years before moving 
to Butler where he was engaged in farming.

Burial was in Red Hill Cemetery at Hammon.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Letha Johns of Lincoln, Ark., Mrs. 
Lucille Allen of Hammon and Mrs. Nellie Howe of Clinton.

Roger Mills Co., OK, D.O.D. September 1, 1974.
