MONTGOMERY RITES ARE SET Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mills-Humphrey Chapel for Beauford Maurice Montgomery, 71, of 224 West Cherokee, who died Friday in a local hospital. Montgomery was born June 21 1902 in Earlsboro. He had been a resident of this area for the past 32 years. He was married to Juanita Crawley Aug. 13, 1941 at Eufaula. Montgomery was a retired metal worker and a member of the Harvestime Church. Surviving relatives include the widow, Juanita of the home: four daughters, Anita of the home; Althea Nelson, McAlester, Delores Montgomery, Dallas, Tex; and Laquetta Wiscour, OceanSide, Calif; three sons, Lou of Dallas, Tex; Eugene of LaMenda, Calif; and Danny of Los Angeles, Calif; three sisters, Hazel Williams, Tecumseh; Zelpha Bishop, Moore; and Emma Adler, Stillwater; three brothers, N.O. Montgomery, Robert Montgomery and Harvey Montgomery, all of Tecumseh; and 14 grand children. Rev A.L. Shumard will officiate at the services and burial will be at Tannehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Quinton, Freddie Griggs, Henry Rowell, Edward Crawley, Manford Crawley and Virgil Ketchum. 1.
