All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Tecumseh Cemetery--Tecumseh OK MONTGOMERY RITES SET FOR TUESDAY Services for Robert Nelson Montgomery, 89, of Tecumseh, longtime county resident will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Free Will Baptist church, Tecumseh. Rev. Delbert Akin and Rev. Carl Sharp will conduct services, with burial in Tecumseh cemetery. Mr. Montgomery, who had lived in Pottawatomie county since 1891, died at 6:35 p.m. Friday enroute to a local hospital after a year-long illness. Born Oct. 11, 1870 in Wise county, Mo., he was a retired farmer and was a member of Primitive Baptist church. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Sennie Montgomery of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Williams, route 2, Tecumseh, Mrs. Xzelpho Bishop, of Moore, and Mrs. Emma Adler, Stillwater; four sons, Norphalet, of Tecumseh, Beauford, of McAlester, and Harvey and Robert, both of Tecumseh; 48 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. Bearers will be grandsons-in-law, Larry Alexander, Charles Brooks, Gerald Meador, H.J. Linduss, Don Brown and Robert VanDeventer. Cooper's Tecumseh, has charge of arrangements. 1.
