All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Tecumseh Cemetery--Tecumseh OK MONTGOMERY Sennie Montgomery, 90, of Tecumseh, died at 5 p.m., Sunday in a Shawnee nursing home following a two weeks illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Free Will Baptist Church, with Rev. Jim Cearly, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will be in Tecumseh Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Montgomery was born in DuQuoin, Ill., March 30, 1878. She moved south of Earlsboro in 1896 and had been a Tecumseh resident since 1935. Her husband, Robert Nelson Montgomery, died July 1, 1960. Mrs. Montgomery was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Williams, Tecumseh, Mrs. Xzeltho Bishop, Moore, Mrs. Emma Adler, Stillwater; four sons, N.O. Montgomery, Tecumseh, Beauford Montgomery, McAlester, Oklahoma, Harvey Montgomery, and Robert Montgomery, and Robert Montgomery, both of Tecumseh; four grandsons she reared, A.C. Bourland, Tecumseh, Recil Stone, Tecumseh, Roy Stone, Shawnee, Beauford Bourland, McAlester; 43 grandchildren; 74 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. 1.
