Iree Merrell Iree Merrell, 83, formerly of Amarillo, died Monday, Sept. 6, 1999. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with the Rev. James Martindale officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Merrell was born in Asher, Okla. She lived in Amarillo from 1945 until two years ago, when she moved to Howardwick. She was a homemaker. She married W.M. Merrell in 1935 at Estelline. He died in 1995. Survivors include her children, Patsy Lynn Norton of Amarillo, Ray Lynn Mabra of Houston, David Scott Mabra of Iowa Park and Rosann Scivally of Howardwick; a sister, Elga King of Amarillo; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
