All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Llano Cemetery--Amarillo OK Catherine "Willy" Mullins Catherine "Willy" Mullins, 94, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Andrew's Children's Chapel with the Rev. John Watson, rector of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, officiating. Private family burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Mullins was born in Westernport, Md. She graduated with an RN in nursing and was a pediatric nurse at Baltimore City Hospital. She came to Amarillo with her husband, Dr. William B. Mullins, and children in 1947 from Shawnee, Okla. Dr. Mullins was a pediatrician, retiring after 50 years of practice. Mrs. Mullins was a member of Potter/Randall County Medical Alliance, Junior Antique Club and St. Andrew's Espicopal Church, where she was an honorary member of St. Andrew's Altar Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995. Survivors include a daughter, Kay Mullins Davis of Austin; two sons, Dr. Michael Mullins of Franklin, Tenn., and Patrick Mullins of Jamestown, N.C.; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a nephew; and two nieces. The family suggests memorials be to St. Andrew's Trust Fund, 1601 S. Georgia St., 79109; BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176; Meals on Wheels, 219 W. Seventh Ave., Amarillo, TX 79101; or a favorite charity. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
