All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Eagle Point National Cemetery--Eagle Point OR Obit for Leonard Leroy NUZUM NUZUM, Leonard Leroy Medford Mail Tribune, OR 06-08-2001 Leonard Leroy Nuzum, 83, of Medford, died Monday (June 4, 2001) at Providence Medford Medical Center. Private inurnment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 380 S.E. Spokane, Suite 110, Portland, OR 97202. He was born May 14, 1918, in Trousdale, Okla. On Oct. 6, 1940, in Yuma, Ariz., he married Hazel Dyer, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley 16 years ago from Twentynine Palms, Calif. Mr. Nuzum was an electrician technician for the Department of Defense in California for more than 15 years. He retired in 1969. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Nuzum was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Lynwood, Calif., and was a Royal Arch Mason in Twentynine Palms, Calif. He enjoyed being a ham and CB radio operator. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Joan Jackson, Valley Springs, Calif.; a brother, George, Anderson, Calif.; a sister, Louise Reynolds, La Verne, Calif.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
