WYATT "SLIM" 2/10/1925 - 7/13/2004 Lafayette T. "Slim" Wyatt, 79, of Toston, MT, formerly of Lake Isabella, CA, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at Broadwater Health Center in Townsend, MT. He was born February 10, 1925, in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Abner and Florence (Bacom) Wyatt. Slim attended schools in Bakersfield, CA. He was a welder and self employed, owning several appliance businesses, his latest being Trutemp Refrigeration in Bakersfield. A gifted musician, Slim played guitar as a hobby and in bands. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Elmer, Virgil, Delton, Marvin and Clyde; sisters, Frances, Flora, May, Bertha, Virgie, Delpha and Ollie. Surviving Slim are his sons, Frank Wyatt of Stigler, OK, Timothy Wyatt and Loren Wyatt of Salt Lake City, UT; daughters, Shirley Peart of Wenatchee, WA, Leslie Heisey of Radersburg, MT, Norma Wyatt of Joplin, MO, and Lynette Hales of Salt Lake City, UT; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and former wife, Sharon Barcellos. Cremation has taken place and his remains will be placed at Greenlawn Cemetery in Bakersfield, CA. Memorials are suggested in Slim's name to Broadwater Health Center, 110 North Oak, Townsend, MT 59644.
