Today's obituaries Saturday, November 18, 2000 

Elsie B. Woodall

Elsie B. Woodall of Shawnee died Thursday in Shawnee. She was 87.

She was born Aug. 30, 1913, in Colin County, Texas. She was the daughter 
of Burt and Lula Mae (Housewright) Eaves.

Mrs. Woodall moved to Tecumseh in 1963 and briefly lived in Fort Smith 
before returning to Shawnee a year ago.

On Nov. 25, 1933, she married was married in Texas to Rufus Woodall, who 
preceded her in death Dec. 18, 1973.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She also was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Bobbie L. Barnett; 

granddaughter Cindy Woodall; five brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Morris and Patricia 
Woodall of Shawnee; Charles and Glenda Woodall of Nashville, Tenn.; Bobby 

and Marilyn Woodall of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Mary Pyle of Fort 
Smith, Ark.; one sister, Mamie Hayes of Lockney, Texas; 14 grandchildren, 
34 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Highland Church of Christ, Tecumseh with 
Doyle Loveland officiating, assisted by Bob Anderson. Burial will be at 
Brown Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh is in charge of 
arrangements.
