Obit for Hazel Lena WHALEY

The memorial service for Hazel Lena Whaley will be at 7 p.m. Friday
at the Church of Christ, 714 S.W. J St., Grants Pass.
Jim Hoff will officiate.

Mrs. Whaley, 82, of Grants Pass, died Monday (May 21, 2001) at
Three Rivers Community Hospital, Dimmick Campus, Grants Pass.

She was born May 27, 1918, in Shawnee, Okla. She married Calvin
Whaley, who died in 1983. They moved to Grants Pass in 1956 from Berkeley, Calif.

Mrs. Whaley was a member of the Church of Christ.
She enjoyed gardening, camping and traveling.

Survivors include a son, Larry, Grants Pass; nine grandchildren;
and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a
daughter, Joyce Hand; and an infant son, Calvin.

Arrangements: Chapel of the Valley, Grants Pass.
