Born. Jan. 4, 1924, in Shawnee. Graduated from Cushing High School. During WWII, as a civil servant, helped close and open bases in Hawaii and Guam. Retired as a civilian employee from Tinker AFB. Lived her life to unselfishly help others, loved people, and enjoyed creating beautiful crocheted items for all who knew her. Was a member of: Rebekah Lodge, LAPM, & LEA over 25 years; Eastern Star over 55 years. She is preceded in death by her sister C. Helen Tennison of Tucson, AZ; her husband Lester R. Wilson, of Arcadia; and daughter Hope Paul, of Houma, LA. She is survived by: her daughter Joy Sparks, grandsons Christopher and James Sparks, of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Perry Tennison of Guthrie; and sister, Mildred Dobbs of Oklahoma City. The Cremation Society of Virginia, Virginia Beach is in charge of arrangements.
