All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Fairhaven Memorial Park--Santa Ana CA Womack, Artie "Irene" Womack, Artie (Irene), 87, of Sun City, CA died Monday, February 5, 2007 at the Menifee Valley Medical Center in Sun City, CA. Irene, as she preferred to be called, was born on December 27, 1919 in Pottawatomie County, OK. After marrying J.B. Womack on September 25, 1937 in Purcell, OK. they moved to California in 1952 to raise the family. Having worked from the fields of Oklahoma to the factory floor of General Tire Irene's most cherished job was raising her 6 children. She was a member of Calvary Temple in Orange, CA for 35 years before moving to Sun City, CA where she was a member of Eagle Ridge Church. Irene is survived by a sister, Millie Burns of Tecumseh, OK; 2 brothers, Sam Smith of Prague, OK. and Elvis Eugene Smith of Bodingham, ME; 3 sons, Edwin Womack of Canyon Lake, CA, Edward Womack of Bullhead City, AZ and Eldon Womack of Lake Havasu, AZ; 3 daughters, Edith Stobaugh of Perris, CA, Evelyn Reid of Apple Valley, CA and Evedean Costere of Lake Elsinore, CA; 22 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren; 16 sons and daughters-in-law and beloved friend Ray Baum. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 9:30am with viewing at 8:30am at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, CA.
