IN COUNTY COURT In the matter of the estate of LILLY BOHANAN NEE DIXON, deceased. PETITION FOR APPROVAL OF FULL BLOOD DEED NOW COME S your petitioner SUSAN BOHANAN, NEE DIXON, and respectfully show S to the Court: That your petitioner is a full blood adult Choctaw Indian duly enrolled on the approved final roll of Choctaw Indians by blood as follows, to-wit: opposite Roll No. 7959. That on or abuot the 18th day of October, 1918 said LILLY BOHANAN, NEE DIXON, deceased, a full blood Choctaw Indian, duly enrolled opposite number 7956 on the approved final roll of choctaw Indians by blood, died intestate at her home near Tuskahoma, in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma; that said deceased at the time of her death was a resident of Pushmataha County, Oklahoma; that this Court has jurisdiction of the settlement on said estate; that deceased at the time of her death was the owner of certain real estate located in Latimer and Haskell (Have written over LeFlore) county, Oklahoma, which was allotted to her as a member of the Choctaw Tribe of Indians as follows, to-wit: The N 1/2 of Section 29; and the SW 1/2 and the S 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 20, all in township 7 North, and Range 22 East I. M. That the said LILLY BOHANAN, NEE DIXON left survivng as her sole and only heirs at law the following persons: Her husband, SIMPSON BOHANAN, her sister, LILLY BOHANAN, NEE DIXON, and her sister MAMIE JEFFERSON NEE DIXON. That on the 18th day of March, 1918 for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and Eighty ($280.00 Dollars to her cash in hand paid, the receipt of which amount is hereby acknowledged the undersigned SUSAN BOHANAN, NEE DIXON petitioner herein, executed and delivered to H. G. Ward, her certain warranty deed conveying to the said H. G. Ward, all her right, title and interest, being one-fourth interest, in and to said real estate herinbefore described; that the consideration is said deed is more than the U. S. Government appraised value, and is reasonable, adequate and in all things satisfactory to your petitioner------------- Wherefore, your petitioner---pray S that this Court make and enter an order approving said deed. STATE OF OKLAHOMA PUSHMATAHA COUNTY SS. IN COUNTY COURT In the matter of the estate of LILLY BOHANAN NEE DIXON, deceased ORDER APPROVING FULL BLOOD DEED. Now on this 18th day of March, 1919, same being one of the days hertofore designated by this Court for the approval of deeds by full blood Indians to inherited lands, under the laws of this State, there comes on for hearing the petition of SUSAN BOHANAN, NEE DIXON, and filed in this Court, praying for an order of the Court approving her certain warranty deed, dated 18th day of March, 1919 wherein she conveyed to H. G. Ward, all her right, title and interest in and to the following described real estate located in Latimer and Haskell (underlined and written over LeFlore) County, Oklahoma towit: The N 1/2 of Section 29; and the SW 1/2 and the S 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 20, all in township 7 North, and Range 22 East I. M. And the Court upon the consideration of said petition, the petitioner appearing in person in open Court, and no person appearing in opposition to said petition, from the testimony given in said cause by disinterested persons, and being fully advised in the premises, finds that the presence of the United States Probate Attorney as attorney for grantor is not required; that LILLY BOHANAN, NEE DIXON, a full-blood Choctaw Indian, duly enrolled on the approved final roll of Choctaw Indians by blood, opposite number 7956 died at her home near Tuskahoma, in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. on or about the 18th day of October, 1918 that deceased at the time of her death was a resident of Pushmataha County, Oklahoma; that this Court has jurisdiction of the settlement of said estate; that at the time of her death she was the owner of the lands above described; that the said petitioner SUSAN BOHANAN, NEE DIXON, is the surviving sister and one of the heirs at law of said deceased; that said petitioner inherited and now owns an undivided one-fourth interest in and to the above described real estate of the said LILLY BOHANAN, NEE DIXON, deceased; that on the 18th day of March, 1919 said petitioner SUSAN BOHANAN, NEE DIXON executed to H. G. Ward, her certain certain warranty deed wherein she conveyed to the said H. G. Ward, all her right, title and interest in and to said land, for the consideration of Two Hundred Eighty ($280.00) Dollars, which appears to the Court to be a fair, reasonable and adequate price for said land and wholly satisfactory to the petitioner. IT IS THEREFORE BY THE COURT CONSIDERED, ORDERED, ADJUDGED and DECREED that said deed from the said SUSAN BOHANAN, NEE DIXON, to the said H. G. WARRANTY DEED KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: THAT SUSAN BOHANAN, NEE ANDERSON, full blood Choctaw, Roll No. 7959, one of the heirs at law of LILLY BOHANAN, full blood choctaw Roll No. 7956; joined by her husband WILSON BOHANAN, of Pushmataha County, State of Oklahoma, part y of the first part, in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred and Eighty ($280.00) DOLLARS, in hand paid, the recipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and the further consideration of the ---------does hereby Grant, Bargain, Sell and Convey unto H. G. Ward, of Pushmataha County, State of Oklahoma, party of the second part, the following described real property and premises, situate in Latimer and LeFLore County, State of Oklahoma, to-wit: Her undivided one-fourth interest in and to The N 1/2 of Section 29; and the SW 1/4, and the S 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 20, all in Township 7 North, and Range 22 East I. M. Together with all the improvements thereon and the appurtenances thereunto belonging, and warrant the title to the same. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said described premises unto the said part y of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, free, clear and discharged of and from all former grants, charges, taxes, judgments, mortgages and other liens and incumbrances of whatsoever nature.
