STATE OF OKLAHOMA, PUSHMATAHA COUNTY. IN COUNTY COURT. In the Matter of the Estate of MELVINA IMPSON, Deceased. PETITION FOR APPROVAL OF DEED. Now comes IDA JOHN and her husband PAUL JOHN petitioners herein and respectfully shows the court that they are citizens by blood of the Choctaw Nation enrolled opposite Numbers #13728 and #5082 respectively as of the full blood. That MELVINA IMPSON was a citizen by blood of the Choctaw Nation enrolled opposite No. #13460. That on or about the 11th day of February 1911 the said MELVINA IMPSON departed this life intestate at her home near Jumbo in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma; that said deceased was an actual resident of Pushmataha County, Oklahoma at the time of her death and had resided in said County for more than five years last preceding her death; that Letters of Administration upon the estate of said MELVINA IMPSON have issued out of this Court and this Court has jurisdiction of the settlement of the estate of said MELVINA IMPSON, Deceased. That said MELVINA IMPSON left her surviving as heirs at law the following named persons and none other, to-wit: her husband ISAAC J. IMPSON and three children, to-wit: IDA JOHN nee ANDERSON, AMIZON B. IMPSON and HARRIET IMPSON. That said MELVINA IMPSON died seized of an estate of inheritance in fee simple in and to the following described lands situate in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma, to-wit: The E. 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 and the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 and the W 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 and the W 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of Section 3 in Township 2 South, Range 15 East. That upon the death of said MELVINA IMPSON said lands descended as follows: One third to said ISAAC J. IMPSON; and two ninths each to said IDA JOHN, AMIZON B. IMPSON and HARRIET IMPSON. That on the 30th day of July 1912 the said petitioners IDA JOHN and her husband PAUL JOHN sold their interest in the above described lands to ISAAC J. IMPSON subject to the approval of this Court for the price and sum of Three Hundred Dollars; that petitioners have executed to said ISAAC J. IMPSON, his heirs and assigns a warranty deed conveying said above described lands. That petitioners believe said consideration to be reasonable and adequate and the fair value of their interest in said land; that said transaction is entirely satisfactory to them and they desire to consummate the same with the permission and approval of this court. Wherefore petitioners pray the court to enter its order ratifying and confirming said sale and approving said deed of conveyance and declaring the same legal, valid and binding, and as in duty bind, petitioners will ever pray. Now on this day there comes on for hearing in open Court the petition of IDA JOHNS nee ANDERSON and her husband, PAUL JOHNS, heretofore filed herein, praying the court to approve petitioners deed to ISAAC J. IMPSON, conveying their interest in the allotment of MELVINA IMPSON, deceased, hereinafter described, and said petitioners appearing in person and by attorney and said ISAAC J. IMPSON coming and tendering and paying into Court for said petitioners the said sum of Three Hundred Dollars, in cash, being the consideration named in said deed, and the court having examined said deed and petition and having heard the evidence offered in the premises and being fully advised in the matter finds the facts to be as in said petition set forth, to-wit: That said petitioners, IDA JOHNS nee ANDERSON and PAUL JOHNS are citizens by blood of the Choctaw Nation, enrolled opposite Numbers #13728 and #5082 respectively as of the full blood. IMPSON, his heirs and assigns, a Warranty Deed conveying said above described lands, a copy of which deed is attached to petition and made a part of the files in said cause; that petitioners have testified they believe said sum to be reasonable and that said transaction is in all things satisfactory and agreeable to petitioners and they now still pray the court to permit them to consummate said sale and ? its order approving said deed. NOW THEREFORE It is hereby ordered, adjudged and decreed by the Court that the said deed of conveyance from the said IDA JOHNS nee ANDERSON and PAUL JOHNS to ISAAC J. IMPSON, his heirs and assigns, be and the same is hereby ratified, confirmed and approved and in all things declared legal, valid and binding. Dated this 5th day of August 1912. Signed by: L. P.
