IN THE COUNTY COURT FOR PUSHMATAHA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA: IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF LOUIE IMPSON, Deceased. In the Matter of the Approval of Deed executed by, ALBERT IMPSON and SUSIE IMPSON, to J. M. CORNELIUS. ORDER APPROVING DEED: On this the 27th day of March 1923, this matter coming before me upon the petition of ALBERT IMPSON and his wife SUSIE IMPSON, praying that I approve a deed signed by them on March 27th, 1923 to J. M. CORNELIUS, said petition showing them the said parties are full blood Choctaw Indians, and that ALBERT IMPSON was the sole and only surviving heir of LOUIE IMPSON, who was also a full blood Choctaw Indian and who resided in and died in what is now Pushmataha County, on the 24th day of March 1923. That the lands conveyed in said deed are as follows: The South Half of the South West Quarter and the South West Quarter of the North West Quarter of the North East Quarter and the West One half of South West Quarter of the South East Quarter of Section Thirty Three and the North West Quarter of the South East Quarter of South East Quarter of Section Thirty Two and the North One half of the South West Quarter of Section Thirty Three all in Township one South Range Fifteen East. And that the consideration paid for same was One Thousand and Fifty and no/100 Dollars. And the petitioners are each being present and the said J. M. CORNELIUS by his attorney being present, the court proceeded to hear and examine into the transaction, and finds that the said ALBERT IMPSON, fully understood the matter and that he and his wife each knew the lands sold and their probable value, and that the price paid for same was not disproportinate to the real value of said lands, and that the sale of same was to the best interest of said grantors. It is therefore considered ordered and decreed by the Court that aforesaid warranty deed signed executed and acknowledged by the said ALBERT IMPSON and SUSIE IMPSON to J. M. CORNELIUS on the 27th day of March 1923, conveying to him the afore described lands, is hereby approved, and at the same time the said Grantee J. M. CORNELIUS paid to the said granttees in the presence of the court the consideration mentioned in said deed, and said money was by the court counted to the grantees in the presence of JACK CORNELIUS and BEN D. THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA, COUNTY OF PUSHMATAHA} SS In the County Court of Said County and State. PETITION. To the Honorable L. P. Davenport, Judge of the County of Pushmataha, Oklahoma: Come your petitioner ALBERT and his wife SUSIE IMPSON and would respectfully show to the Court: First: That on or about the 24th day of March 1923, LOUIE IMPSON died intestate, at his home near Jumbo in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. That the deceased at the time of his death was a resident of Pushmataha County, State of Oklahoma, and that this Court has jurisdiction in the settlement of the said estate. That deceased at the time of his death was the owner in fee simple of certain real estate located in Pushmataha and Choctaw County, State of Oklahoma, which said real estate was allotted to him as a full blood Choctaw Indian, and that the said real estate so allotted to him is decribed as follows, to-wit: The South Half of the South West Quarter and the South West Quarter of the North West Quarter of the North East Quarter and the West One half of South West Quarter of the South East Quarter of Section Thirty Three and the North West Quarter of the South East Quarter of South East Quarter of Section Thirty Two and the North One half of the South West Quarter of Section Thirty Three all in Township one South Range Fifteen East. And being of the Goverment appraised value of One Thousand and Forty Dollars. That said deceased appears on the Choctaw Roll by blood, opposite Roll No. #5197. Second: That your petitioner ALBERT IMPSON and SUSIE IMPSON respectively, the sole and only surviving heirs at law of the said LOUIE IMPSON. Your petitioner further shows that on the 27th day of March 1923 in the town of Antlers, in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma, State of Oklahoma, for and in consideration of the sum of One Thousand and Forty Dollars cash in hand to them paid by J. M. CORNELIUS the receipt of which amount is acknowledged, your petitioner executed and delivered to the said J. M. CORNELIUS, their certain Warranty Deed, conveying unto the said J. M. CORNELIUS, the real estate above decribed, in fee simple. That the consideration of the said deed is reasonable, adequate, and in all things satisfactory to your petitioner. WHEREFORE, the premises considered, your petitioner prays that this Court enter its order confirming and approving the said conveyance to the said (blank) and in all things to declare the said sale and conveyance legal and valid.
