Belle CHAPPELL spent Sunday with Odethel THORNTON. Mr. and Mrs. Bunk GRIFFENN moved in our community the last of last week. Miss Viola ROWAN visited Hazel COIL Sunday. Mrs. Ernest DUNHAM was a dinner guest of Mrs. Ben GAY Sunday. Mrs. Charlie HELM spent Sunday with Mrs. Bob HELM. Mr. Bud ROWAN spent Saturday night with Mr. Natborn BOLING. --Sunshine GREENWOOD ITEMS: Hello friends! We are entering the News this week. Miss Bernice HOPKINS spent Saturday night with Estela ROBINS. Misses Mary and Maggie DIXON spent Sunday with Miss Lillian WOOLDRIDGE. Charles EVANS spent Wednesday night with Peat and Cecil MOON. Misses Bernice HOPKINS and Esicia ROBINS were visiting Lillian WOOLDRIDGE this week. Miss Edna EVANS spent Tuesday night with the BRICE girls. Euel and Clyde WOOLDRIDGE at Antlers Wednesday night. Runt PILLEGE was visiting the Greenwood School Thursday afternoon. Buster SPENCE, Euel WOOLDRIDGE, Dick MOON, and Ted DIXON were in Antlers Saturday. FEWELL ITEMS: Mr. Haywood BAILEY who has been trying to get in the Navy got a call Saturday to go to Fort Smith. He left here Monday. Mr. and Mrs. King MOWDY are the proud parents of a baby boy, born January 6th. Mr. Fred TAYLOR has bought a place here in the river valley. Sunday school is progressing nicely. We had a large crowd Sunday. We are going to have a pie supper at the Donica school house. Be sure and come. News is scarce this week will bring more next time (Too late for last week) Mr. and Mrs. Bert SANDERS are the proud parents of a baby girl born December 26. Miss Lois SANDS who was been attending the Normal at Durant came home for Christmas but returned on New Year's day. Mr. MOORE of the mill camp died December 25 and was buried at the Fewell cemetery. Submitter's Note: This was Diane Green's 2nd great grandpa. Mr. Alain WALTERS of Kiamichi has come to stay with his grandpa, Mr. FEWELL, and is going to school at the Fewell school. Mr. and Mrs. Lester GILLWREATH are building a new house on the farm of his father-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Akins of HANABA went to Paris but returned Monday. Mr. Joe BROWN of Burcark was visiting his brother Mr. Newt BROWN but returned home Saturday. -Grasshopper. Dr. and Mrs. E. BALL left last week for a two week stay with friends in San Antonio, Texas. M. G. LOTT of the City Barber Shop left Sunday for the sanitarium in Paris for an operation
