All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== "Antlers American", June 1973 FUNERAL RITES CONDUCTED FOR HENRY RUSSELL ALEXANDER Funeral service was held Saturday June 9, 1973 for Henry Russell Alexander, 77, of Snow. The service was held in the Clayton Christ Church with Paul Cook officiating assisted by Ted Loving. Mr. Alexander was born September 29, 1895 at Fulsom, Oklahoma (Indian Territory) and died June 7, 1973 in the local hospital. Mr. Alexander lived in the Snow community for 37 years, and was a veteran of World War 1. Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife Beulah; four sons, Jack Alexander of Snow, Russell Alexander of Snow, Charles Alexander of Clayton, and Larry Alexander of McAlester; four daughters, Florence Ben of Snow, Jewell Martin of Tulsa, Ina Blue of Snow, and Ruby Wheeler of Finley; 42 grandchildren and 34 great-great grandchildren. He had three sisters, Willie Sells of Durant, Mable Smith of Caddo, and Mary Nation of Caddo, Okla, two brothers, Jim Alexander of Norman, and Bee Alexander of Eldorado, Kansas. Pallbearers were Mark McIntosh, Roy E. Jackson, James Elliott, Pete Robbins, Ed Jackson, and Ted Hill. Interment was held at the A. L. Stephens cemetery at Clayton.
