T." AYERS SERVICES HELD Hugo resident, James Thomas "J. T." Ayers, age 72 passed away on June 1, 2002. J. T. Ayers was born February 24, 1930 in Houston, Texas the son of Jessie and Rosa "Kluna" Ayers. He had worked in the dry wall business in Dallas, Paris, and Hugo and he served in the U. S. Air Force. He married Ellen Marie Cloniger on November 13, 1948 in Princeton, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: James Wesley; and one sister: Frances Lee Hassell. He is survived by his wife: Ellen Marie Ayers of the home; 2 sons: Thomas Gene Ayers of Hugo, Oklahoma and Markel Lee Ayers of Antlers, Oklahoma; 2 daughters: Renae Elaine Ward of Paris, Texas; and Joyce Marie McDaniel of Hugo, Oklahoma; 1 sister: Nita Joyce Cooper of Honey Grove, Texas; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services were held on Tuesday, at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Gilbert Dale officiating. Burial was held at the Cloninger Family Cemetery under the direction of Mt.
