Baker Graveside services for Joy F. Baker, 68, Sulphur, were held Monday, May 10, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dolberg Cemetery with Rev. Jack Eldred and Rev. Butch Fires officiating. Services were under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home. Mr. Baker was born on Tuesday, March 31, 1936 at Antlers to Robert F. Fires and Nellie Zee Lois Eldred Fires. She died on Friday, May 7, 2004 in Sulphur. On February 15, 1956 she married Barney Ray Baker, in Ada. She lived in this area most of her life and attended school in Hickory and Dougherty. She was of the Holiness faith and was a devoted, wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, Barney, of the home; five daughters, Brenda Neal, Chickasha, Bonnie Williams, Sulphur, Becky Thompson, Marietta, Patsy Crouch, Norman, and Peggy Baker, Roff; two brothers, Butch Fires, Sulphur and Pokey Fires, Roff; five sisters Stella Mae Hayes, Huron, Calif., Barbara Brown, Davis, Helen White, Seminole, Robbie Stidham, Sulphur and Pansy Duley, Elmore City; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers were B.J.
