Bird, Walter L.

Walter L. Bird, was born August 30, 1931, in Oklahoma City, to Robert M. 
and Alice (Mangham) Bird. He passed away December 9, 2002, at 71 years of 
age. Walter attended school in Antlers. He married Barbara Beaty, on 
August 30, 1954, in Oklahoma City. He served in the Army during Korean 
Conflict and worked for Wilson Foods in Oklahoma City for 20 years. 
Survivors include his wife, Barbara of Blanchard; daughter, Deborah Bird 
of Blanchard; sons, Robert Bird of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Dewight Bird 
of Seminole; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; other relatives and 
friends. His parents preceded him in death. Services will be held at 2:00 
PM, Friday, December 13, 2002, at the Crossroads To Life Baptist Church, 
Blanchard. Rev. John Leggett will officiate with interment held in the 
Blanchard Cemetery. Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard, made arrangements.
