All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== "Push County Times", October 16, 2001, Page 6 LAWRENCE DEAN BROWN SERVICES HELD Lawrence Dean Brown was born on November 28, 1942 in Sunray, Texas and passed away on October 7, 2001 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years. Mr. Brown has lived in Oklahoma, Sulphur Springs, and Amarillo, Texas. He was of the Church of Christ faith and he enjoyed fishing, pool, dominoes, and playing horseshoes. He is survived by parents: Sam and Bessie Brown of Sulphur Springs, Texas; his wife: Annie Brown of the home in Wellston, Oklahoma; two sons: John Bradley Brown and wife Tommie of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Walter Ivie Brown of Wellston, Oklahoma; two daughters: Wendy Ginn and husband Timothy of Newalla, Oklahoma; and Jodie Atkinson and husband Mike of Midwest City, Oklahoma. Six sisters: Gwendolyn Wylie of Fredrick, Oklahoma; Florence Danielson of Sulphur Springs, Texas; Sanetta Hardt of Grandberry, Texas; Geneva Smith of Sulphur Springs, Texas; Glenna McGee of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and Sammie Black of Paulden, Arizona. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory seven grandchildren and 1 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother: Tommy Brown and three sisters: Lawana Farris, Donna White, and Juanita Brown. Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at 3:00 p.m. at the Finley Church of Christ with Michael Ward officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Timmy Ginn, Earl Hunt, Scott Hart, Raymond Lopez, Larry Danielson, Mark Dickey, Greg Hall, and John A. Bradley.
