Barnhart July 2, 1917 — Oct. 8, 2006 Sybil Joulious Barnhart, 89, of Modesto died Oct. 8 at Doctors Medical Center. Mrs. Barnhart was a native of Antlers, Okla., and lived in Modesto 20 years. She was a homemaker 68 years. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses, and enjoyed reading and cooking. She is survived by her children, Elbert Barnhart and Jessie Barnhart, both of Williams, Ariz., Joyce Riske of Needles and Karen Irons of Modesto; sister, Mae Marie Adar of Quincy; and 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Barnhart; and six brothers. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Carver Road Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
