COLBERT SERVICES ARE SLATED TODAY Funeral services for Earl Charles Colbert, 62, of Antlers will be held today at 2:30 p.m. in the Jesus Name Church at Antlers. Rev. Howard L. Baker, a nephew, and Rev. Henderson Abbott will officiate. Colbert was born September 16, 1908 at Sardis and died May 17, 1971 at the Indian Hospital at Talihina. He was severly burned in an accident at the city dump where he was employed as caretaker. He had lived in this community some 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Effie of the home; two sons: Franklin Colbert and Marshall Colbert; two step-sons: Charles Yarbrough of Broken Bow and Alfred Yarbrough of Longview, Texas; two brothers: Ezra Colbert of Oklahoma City and Everidge Benton of Tulsa; one sister: Margaret Robertson of Holdenville; two grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jimmy Loman, Isom Loman, Ira Moran, Joe Allen, Leo Nelson, Wilson Riley and Moses Harjo.
