She was born in 1881 at Thackerville and had lived in this community for the past 16 years. She was a member of the Methodist church. The funeral services were held at the Coffey Funeral Chapel Sunday morning with Rev. Harold L. Duncan officiating. Burial was in the city cemetery at Atwood, Hughes Co., OK. Survivors are her husband, L. G. Dawkins, two sons: Wallace Dawkins of Snow and Lonnie Dawkins of Salem, Oregon and 17 grandchildren.
