All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== "Push County Times", May 29, 2001, Page 6 MIKE DIGGINS SERVICES HELD Gary Mike Diggins was born September 27, 1942 in Weleetka, Oklahoma the son of Fern (Sisson) Sandlin. He had lived in Oklahoma most of his life and had moved to Antlers 3 years ago. He and his wife Jenny "Wilkins" Diggins have been together since 1977 and they married on December 20, 1984 in Paris, Texas. He worked for Tinker A. F. B. for 12 years, as truck driver for many years, the Parks Department for the City of Oklahoma City where he received the "Award of Excellence" and was licensed for boiler operators and asbestos, and as a fiber optics inspector for CMI. He served in the U. S. Navy during Vietman. Mike's hobbies included his love to go and play Bingo, go fishing and read. He was preceded in death by one son: Larry Don Diggins in 1984. He is survived by his wife: Jenny Diggins of home; 4 daughters: Kelly Rector of Weleetka, Okla.; Angela Herring of Weleetka, Okla.; Cindy Largent of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and Angie Kellogg of Guthrie, Oklahoma; his mother: Fern Sandlin of Weleetka, Okla.; 3 brothers: Jim Sandlin, Rick Sandlin, and Charlie Diggins all of Weleetka, Okla.; 2 sisters: Janie Davis of Weleetka, Okla. and Frankie Terrell of Midwest City, Okla.; 13 grandchildren of which Rachel, Jennifer and Ray live at the home; Jessie, Jake, Sonny, Dustin, Cody, Bubba, Josh, Magan, Cody, and Krystle. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 22, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at the Family Worship Center in Antlers, Okla. with Reverend Phillip Rowland officiating. Burial was held at the Antlers City Cemetery under the direction of Mt.
