Dunham was born in Rattan, Oklahoma on July 7, 1920. He passed away on August 30, 2002 and was preceded in death by both parents, 9 brothers and sisters and his wife of 45 years, Laura Dunham. He is survived by his wife Janet; his sisters Gerrine Hicks and Dean Barnett; his four children, Tom, his wife Terry, John, his wife Charlotte, his daughter Marilyn Clayton and his youngest son Richard. He also has 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Dad was a proud veteran of World War II. He served in the infantry of the Army and was in the second wave that took Omaha Beach. He also fought alongside General Patton. He worked in the oilfields as a tool pusher most of his life. In the early 70s he went to Alaska to work on the pipeline where he retired with the Teamsters. Dad devoted his retirement years to his wife and children and is dearly missed.
