[comments by submitter] FARRIS SERVICES HELD TUESDAY FOR OC RESIDENT ANTLERS AMERICAN Thursday, March 20, 1969 Farris Services Held Tuesday For OC [Oklahoma City] Resident Funeral services for David B. Harbison, Oklahoma City resident, were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, from the Farris Church of Christ with Walter Durbin officiating. Burial was in the Farris cemetery under direction of Sanford Funeral home. Harbison, died at Oklahoma City Friday, March 14. He was 80 years of age, [incorrect age] having been born January 20, 1889. [born Jan. 20, 1892] He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Jewell; two sons, James of Mesquite, Texas, and David, Jr., [I'm under the impression from family that Uncle D.B. is not officially a Jr.] with the U.S. Air Force; one daughter, Mrs. David Trimble, Austin, Minn., and ten grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Lela Hust, Magnolia, Ark.
