All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Heber Cemetery--Heber AZ Huston, LaVoice Irene LaVoice Irene Huston, age 81, passed away May 31, 2007 at her home in Heber. She was born on November 7, 1925 to Jacob and Mamie McGee in Antlers, Oklahoma. LaVoice had two brothers, Elvern and J.C. McGee and two sisters, Bernice Spear and Reba Wright; they all precede her in death. At the age of 12, her family moved to Casa Grande, AZ and eventually settled in Valley Farms, AZ where she met the love of her life, Joseph D. Huston. They were married for 58 years. Joe preceded her in death August 1999. LaVoice and Joe had 5 children, Mike of Queen Creek, Dan of Show Low, Pat of Peoria, Tim of Heber and a daughter, Marilyn King of Heber. She left posterity of 27 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren. Before moving to Heber in 1978 they had lived in Avondale, Wellton and Scottsdale. She had been a faithful member of the American Legion Auxiliary, The 40-8 Arizona Search & Rescue. She was also active in the Senior Center and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to play cards, bake, work in her yard and stay active in her community. LaVoice & Joe loved to travel and visited many places across the country. She had a full life and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 9, 2007 at the Heber Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There will be a viewing one-hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Heber Cemetery.
