JONES SERVICES HELD Wilburn I. Jones was born on July 3, 1937 in Snow, Oklahoma and passed away on October 9, 2001 in Paris, Texas at the age of 64 years. Mr. Jones attended school at Divide and graduated from Clayton High School. Wilburn served in the U. S. Army in Berlin, Germany for 2 years, 11 months and 16 days. He worked for Weyerhauser Company in Wright City, Oklahoma for 36 years, 5 months, and 22 days. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. He is survived by his wife: Nila Jones of the home in Antlers, Oklahoma; 8 children: Kellie, Charles and Darrell Jones of the home; Rhoda Jones and husband Jason of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Wilburn Jones, Jr., Albert Jones, and Darrin Jones all of Talihina, Oklahoma; Delores Jones and husband Todd of Farris, Oklahoma; and 1 step-son Donny Worthy and wife of Holly Creek, Oklahoma; 2 brothers: Abraham Jones and wife Sue of Moyers, Oklahoma; and John Baker of Snow, Oklahoma; 3 sisters: Clara Jones and husband Donald of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Nancy Peters and husband Floyd of Antlers, Oklahoma; and Elenza Johnson and husband Jimmy of Antlers, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents: Albert and Rhoda Jones; 1 baby girl: Carolyn; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 13, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at the Moyers School Gymnasium with Reverend Sampson Parish and Frank Noah officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Leon Tims, Jerry Dansby, Jimmy Whitmore, Dale Alexander, Wayne Smith and Tim Jones. Honorary pallbearers included: Charlie Jones, Darrell Jones, Jason Holleman, Todd Charlile, Don Worthy and Glenn Johnson. Burial was held at the Nashoba Indian Cemetery under the direction of Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Antlers, Oklahoma. -------------------------------------
